Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009) stands the greatest influence in pop music culture and entertainment. The 7th child of the Jacksons, he started his professional music career at the tender age of 11, forming the Jackson 5 with his older brothers. Michael began a solo career in 1971 while still a member of the Jackson 5. Commonly called "The King of Pop" in later years, four of his solo studio albums are among the world's top-selling records: Off the Wall (1979), Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991) and HIStory (1995), while his 1982 Thriller is the world's best-selling record of all time.

I have had such a hard time dealing with MJ's death,at times it still feels so surreal. I feel such an emptiness inside, and for a while there I was in a terrible depression, and it actually started to scare me.
