10 Aug 2006 – from Nathan
Dad and I visited your old home in Marysville a few weeks ago. Sadly the wonderful garden you created has been removed. It always brings back so many memories of visiting as a young boy. It's a special place to me and will always remain that way. Miss ya nan.

17 Apr 2006 – from Sue Gleeson
Everytime i go past your house i think of you, the endless cups of tea. The beautiful garden that was your pride and joy, the chooks you used to talk to,and that cookatoo (Morgan) he used to have conversations with you, I'm sure he was part human.
But most of all i remember the laughter. Your house was like a second home to me and you like a second mum. I will always remember
